#WeAreAllLeoMessi

As time to select the next Ballor d'Or comes around, the annual parade of Barça parrots praising the virtues of Messi, and beating down Cristiano Ronaldo, comes on to the Media streets. Its become a tradition, a sort of soccer equivalent of Carnaval and Halloween. They  usually parade alone, all dress up in their Blaugrana costumes, and sing, repeatedly, the same old song: "We Are All Leo Messi". In a new act, they also count virtues and evils up to 8!! Not bad for parrots, I must say! However, the blaugrana parrots sound like a broken vinyl record, and like any other parrot there is a serious debate over whether these talking birds have any cognitive understanding of what they sing.
.
This year, the parade comes on the heels of the disgraceful, highly criticized, officially-coined #WeAreAllLeoMessi campaign, born out of the tax evasion shame. As Josep Maria Bartolomeu tweeted: "Leo, those who attack you are attacking Barça and its history. We’ll defend you to the end. Together forever!"
.
No matter what, we'll defend you. If its criminal, if its Ballon d'Or, if its ... you name it ... we'll have your back. Regardless. Because you are Barcelona.
.
All this parading and campaigning makes no sense. They try to make it look spontaneous, almost grass roots, but its highly orchestrated!!! Why would all of these parrots come out to defend Messi for a criminal act? Or parade for him for the Ballon d'Or every year, especially when he clearly does not deserve it?? What drives this?? Are there any sponsors behind this? Who gains with this manipulation, this tipping of the balance??? Is there money being spent?? At what level??
.
Think about it!! Blatter, the most corrupt FIFA official ever, the guy that only answered to money, was one of Messi's greatest supporters!!! Why??? Why would he, a money loving official, with all his power and influence, do such a thing??? To Praise Messi and mock Cristiano Ronaldo????????? He did that out of the goodness of his heart?? Or the goodness of someones pocket???
.
I wonder if we'll ever find out. But one thing is clear: all this Messi-mania is mostly fabricated.
